What facilities can be rented at Deseret Peak Complex?
We have three main indoor facilities: 1) Conference Center, 2) Large Pavilion, 3) Indoor Arena.
Outdoor facilities include: 1) Outdoor Arena (typically used for rodeos), 2) Motorized Arena (Used for arenacross, monster trucks, demolitions derbies, etc). 3) Festival Area – coming soon. (see venue list in website)
How do I become a vendor for events held at your facility?
Most of the events at Deseret Peak Complex are produced by outside companies or organizations who just rent the facility, so you will need to contact those companies.
When does camping officially open?
Settlement Canyon, Ophir Canyon campgrounds and the camping at Grantsville Reservoir typically opens on April 1 (weather permitting) and Middle Canyon camping opens in May for Memorial Day weekend (depending on weather conditions). Camping at Deseret Peak Complex typically opens in March.
When do the canyons close for the season?
Most of the time the canyons will close at the end of October because of winter conditions making them not safe for driving.
When will the pool open?
Energy Solutions Aquatic Center is currently being rebuilt and we are anticipating a reopening in the summer of 2025.
