Tooele County Parks & Recreation Welcomes New Aquatics Supervisor as EnergySolutions Aquatic Center Prepares for 2026 Opening

There’s a lot to look forward to in Tooele County. As the newly rebuilt EnergySolutions Aquatic Center moves toward its grand opening in May 2026, we’re excited to introduce someone who will help shape its future.

Please join us in welcoming McKenna Raddatz as the new Aquatics Supervisor at The Peak Sports and Entertainment Complex.

McKenna brings nearly 10 years of real-world aquatics experience to the team. Originally from Kanab, Utah, she’s been lifeguarding since she was 16 and has built her career around water safety, staff development, and creating strong, well-run programs. She comes to Tooele County from the Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Service Area Aquatic Center, where she served as Aquatic Coordinator.

There, she supervised more than 150 lifeguards each year, handled budgeting and reporting, led monthly staff training sessions, and taught American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification courses. She holds both American Red Cross Lifeguard and Lifeguard Instructor certifications.

“As we get ready to open this incredible new facility, bringing McKenna on board now helps us lay the groundwork for a strong culture of safety, training, and outstanding guest service,” said Corey Bullock, Director of Tooele County Parks & Recreation. “Her experience and genuine passion for aquatics will be a tremendous asset to our community and to the success of the EnergySolutions Aquatic Center.”

When the doors open in May 2026, families can expect a refreshed, modern aquatic experience. The facility will feature two pools — a leisure pool and a lap pool — along with two water slides, an upgraded diving well, improved concessions, and thoughtful amenities designed for Tooele County families.

Construction continues to move forward, and more details about programs, swim lessons, and the official grand opening will be shared in the months ahead.

Summer 2026 is on the horizon — and it’s shaping up to be one to remember.
