The countdown is on for one of Tooele County’s favorite summer traditions! The Tooele County Fair returns July 31 – August 2 at The Peak Sports & Entertainment Complex, a premier facility managed by Tooele County Parks and Recreation. This year’s theme, Back to Our Roots, celebrates the simple joys of rural living, the strength of our community, and the traditions that bring neighbors together year after year.
A Fair Built by the Community
The Tooele County Fair is planned and organized by a dedicated volunteer fair board, supported by Tooele County staff and council members. As Fair Chairman, Steven Babbit leads the charge with guidance from Assistant County Manager Brittany Lopez, who represents the county on the board. Their combined efforts and countless volunteers make the fair possible each summer.
Main Events You Won’t Want to Miss
The fair is packed with activities for all ages, but a few highlight events steal the spotlight every year:
- 🐄 Jr. Livestock Show – See the hard work of local youth as they present their animals and agricultural projects.
- 🐎 Broncs & Bulls Rodeo – Heart-pounding action that brings the thrill of the arena to Tooele County.
- 💥 Punishment at the Peak Demolition Derby – The can’t-miss grand finale of crashes, smashes, and full-throttle fun that draws a huge crowd.
Old-Fashioned Fun & Local Flavor
This year’s fair features old-fashioned games and activities that keep with the theme. Home Arts exhibits showcase quilts, baked goods, and crafts. There will also be a softball tournament, a wide selection of food, and local vendors offering everything from fair classics to handmade goods.
Live Entertainment Lineup
The entertainment stage will be rocking all weekend with an exciting lineup of music:
- 🎶 Rewind – A local Tooele band bringing hometown energy.
- 🎶 Unbroken – Delivering powerhouse vocals and high-energy performances.
- 🎶 Better with Age – Proving good music only gets better over time.
- 🎸 The Fox Brothers Band – Closing out the fair at the After-Party Concert following the demolition derby.

Whether you’re there to cheer on the rodeo, watch the derby, enjoy live music, or grab a bite to eat with family and friends, the Tooele County Fair is more than just an event—it’s where the community comes together to celebrate summer, heritage, and each other.
