TOOELE COUNTY, UT — May 30, 2024 — Energy Solutions Aquatic Center at the Deseret Peak Complex is pleased to announce the plans for its new and improved pool facilities and release the renderings for the swimming complex. The new design includes two pools instead of one, featuring both a lap pool and a leisure pool with a lazy river. The lap pool is strategically designed to be covered in the future, allowing for year-round use. There will also be state-of-the-art pool toys including not one, but two new slides and other exciting water features.
The Deseret Peak Complex will continue to boast one of the largest outdoor aquatic facilities in the state. Although the new pools will not be open this year, the enhancements promise an unparalleled aquatic experience that will be well worth the wait.
This development is part of a five-year master plan to transform the Deseret Peak Complex and establish Tooele County as a premier destination. The new aquatic center is a significant milestone in this comprehensive plan, reflecting the county’s commitment to providing exceptional recreational amenities for the community.
