Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are now in place, including all Tooele County canyons and campgrounds. These restrictions are critical to protecting our lands, visitors, and wildlife.
What’s Not Allowed Under Stage 2 Fire Restrictions:

No campfires or open flames, including charcoal or pellet grills.

Gas stoves OK if they have a shut-off valve and are used in a clear area at least 3 feet wide.

No smoking, unless inside a vehicle, building, developed site, or on a paved/vegetation-free area.

No fireworks or exploding targets.
-
No cutting, welding, or grinding metal near dry vegetation.

No motorcycles, ATVs, chainsaws, or similar engines without a spark arrestor.
