Tooele County Parks and Recreation is proud to announce the launch of a dynamic new Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) program at The Peak Sports & Entertainment Complex, which will begin in August. This exciting partnership brings high-quality martial arts instruction to Tooele County and adds a new dimension to the county’s growing list of fitness and recreation opportunities.
Led by a 3rd-degree black belt instructor, the program is designed to be accessible and challenging for participants at all levels—whether you’re brand new to Jiu Jitsu or looking to sharpen your competition game.
🗓 Weekly Class Schedule
Classes will run three days a week, offering multiple sessions to accommodate busy schedules and varying experience levels:
Tuesdays & Thursdays

6:00–7:15 PM – Adult Fundamentals Gi Class
Focus: Self-defense, foundational techniques, and fitness -
7:15–8:30 PM – Adult Competition No-Gi Class
Focus: Sport BJJ, no-gi techniques, and competition readiness
Saturdays

10:30 AM–12:00 PM – Adult All-Levels Gi Class
Mix of fundamentals and advanced techniques -
12:00–1:30 PM – Open Mat / Competition Seminar
Free rolling and occasional guest coach seminars
